Cleaning the room as a metaphor…

… for putting things in order in my life.

Apart from visiting museums and going to classical music concerts, I also took the opportunity of not having to work for someone else, to do a general cleaning in my room/workshop.

I started when I unpacked with the electronics and everything that I will need for the new project and I put the old one in a suitcase never to see the light of day again. ๐Ÿ˜…

I know that I have way too much stuff… especially socks, which I’ve started throwing away instead of patching them when they break.

I still have plenty, no worries. I’m to socks what Cรฉline Dion is to shoes. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway, I also have too many rings.

Which I do not wear anymore, I might add. At least the socks I need to wear…

They are pretty though… The rings… I am proud I didn’t buy any in Italy although I come close a few times. I do want to order one more from Joined by fire though ๐Ÿ˜…… though I will never wear it… Oh, I will… Maybe it’s what I need to bring the passion back. ๐Ÿ˜

Something has changed though. Well… I am not who I was at the beginning of summer that is for sure. I was afraid I killed a fairy this summer but all is good. I changed without growing up. Hew! I came close though… So fucking close!

I have a new muse… Well, in all honesty it is probably the first muse I ever had. Una palomita! So cheesy! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Normally, my new project should have been, eventually, populated by toys interacting and telling a story. Now I do not feel it but hopefully I will get back on track.

In the meantime… Off with their heads!!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚

I rearranged the space. It looks more “mature” but not that much. ๐Ÿ˜…

The photo in the middle is a postcard I took from Palazzo Storzzi and it shows one of the costumes made by Natalia Goncharova. It is placed there randomly as the latest female artist discovery. However, I prefer Dora Maar and I realised I did not write about my visit to Centre Pompidou this year because I got carried away by doves and whatnot. ๐Ÿ™„ And of course Niki … I didn’t get to see her garden this year as I hoped to, but I will see it again. I feel it.

The mess on the upper shelf is still the best depiction of my life and … pour vous que รงa ne change pas. ๐Ÿ’–
